This policy explains how Svaritanum uses personal information when you visit our website or use our shop.
1. Who we are
IE Denis Kashcheev, operating as Svaritanum, is responsible for your personal information.
Address: Svimon Kananeli 33, 6400 Batumi, Georgia.
Email: svaritanum@gmail.com.
2. Information and purposes
- Enquiries and orders: your name, contact and delivery details, instrument choices, correspondence and payment records. We use these to answer you, agree specifications, fulfil orders and provide support, as steps towards or performance of a contract.
- Accounts: your email, username, protected password and saved details, to provide the account service you request.
- Reviews: your displayed name, rating, text and any attached photo. Approved contributions are public. We process them for our legitimate interest in sharing customer experiences and moderating reviews.
- Technical information: IP address, browser details, requested pages, visit times and referring websites may appear in server logs and traffic reports. We use these for our legitimate interests in security, troubleshooting and understanding website use. Browser analytics is disabled.
We also retain records required for accounting, tax and other legal obligations. Payment credentials are handled by the agreed payment provider; this website does not collect full card details.
Contact and delivery details are needed to handle an order; without them we may be unable to fulfil it. Accounts and reviews are optional, although you must sign in to submit a review.
3. Who receives information
We share information as needed with providers of website hosting, storage, backups, technical support and email; payment providers; delivery services and customs authorities; and professional advisers or authorities where required. Google receives information when you email our Gmail address or allow and play a YouTube video.
4. Cookies and YouTube
Cookies and similar storage support the following functions:
- Shopping: cart indicators last for the browser session. Shopping sessions normally last 2 days for guests or 7 days when signed in and may be renewed.
- Sign-in and saved settings: login cookies usually last for the browser session, or up to 14 days with Remember Me. Saved interface preferences may last up to 1 year.
- YouTube permission: your choice is remembered for up to 180 days. Related browser local storage may remain until you clear it.
These functions do not use advertising or analytics cookies from our website. You can block or delete browser storage, but necessary shopping or sign-in functions may then stop working.
YouTube players load only after you allow YouTube and press Play. Google may receive your IP address, browser and referring-page information, use cookies or similar storage and associate activity with your Google account. See Google’s Privacy Policy for its processing and storage periods. Change or withdraw permission through YouTube settings in the footer. Withdrawal stops further player loading; it cannot undo information already sent to Google.
5. How long we keep information
Retention depends on the purpose of the record: whether an enquiry or support case remains open, an order still needs fulfilment, an account remains in use, a review is published, or accounting requirements and legal claims require continued retention. Account deletion does not remove records that must be kept for these other reasons. Contact us to request deletion or ask about a particular record.
Server logs are rotated by our hosting provider. We retain information from them as needed to investigate technical or security issues. Automatic weekly backups are kept for up to six weeks. Separately saved recovery copies are kept while needed to restore the site. Deleted information may remain in a backup until that copy expires or is removed.
6. International processing
We operate in Georgia. Hosting, email, payments, video playback and international delivery may involve processing in other countries, including outside the European Economic Area.
Our hosting provider’s Data Processing Addendum describes safeguards for international transfers, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. Google explains its own safeguards in its data transfer frameworks. Contact us for details about the safeguards that apply to a specific transfer.
7. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email svaritanum@gmail.com to exercise these rights. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within the applicable legal deadline.
You may complain to the State Audit Office of Georgia or, where the GDPR applies, the relevant EEA data-protection authority, including in your country of habitual residence.
8. Updates
We update this policy when our data practices change. The published version will show its latest revision date.
